First in line at an Illinois dealer, Spec. on car as follows.
Status is 112, how long does it take to advance to status
150?

Interlagos Blue
Black interior with Maderia wood
Rear heated seats for the kids
Rear power shades to look cool
HUD for myself.

Regards,

JDS M5 (Looking to sell my 2001 carbon black M5,

Congrats JDS,
Once your car hits status 112 you should be good to go. Ordinarily all cars are assigned a certain "production week" when the car is supposed to hit production. This date is the latest possible time frame for the production of the car. Think of this date as BMW dragging the date as far back as possible. This is designed to give the dealerships maximum amount of time to modify the cars/presell with customer specified options. Once the car is assigned to status 112 it means it has a customer's name on it and as such becomes a "priority" so it will hit production a bit sooner than what you were quoted. However, the factory is shut down in August for the entire month and will resume in September. My guess is you will have your car sometime in the second week in October mmmmmm
