Yes, but with very different gadgets.
The previous generation President was also based on a Q45 but the President is a LWB version of the Q, sort of like a 740i and 740iL defference

Even with the added legroom in the rear passenger compartment, it won't sell well. Infiniti consistently sells roughly 250-300 Q45s a month (yes, a month!) in the US since the car debuted in the US back around 2001. If they badged it as a Nissan in the US, sales would probably be worse since a lot of people buy expensive cars because of brand name.
