Hi
A Bit disturbing this.
Take one trusting owner who really loves his car.
Takes it to a "Independant specialist"
Spend...£00,000 over 3 years including a very recent complete engine &
driveline rebuild.

This is what I found when the cooling system appeared not to be operating
properly today...
( Owner off to Nordschleife in 1 months time)

Oh that owner would be me, the "Independant specialist" would be PMW and this latest negligence has been added to a very long list of things they have done badly to my car.....

My advice, never use that garage for anything other than to get directions to the shops.....

Am seriously considering seaking legal advice about their work.
Having to pay to get work redone is really starting to f*ck me off.

If any legal bods out there reading this and have some advice, please PM me.

Ouch. There are some good specialists in Herts, Middx etc, but obviously NOT in Essex! Certain Moderator excluded from this statement.

What a bunch of wankers. Really makes me mad this kind of thing. At least your car is in the hands of someone honest and competent (understatement) now.

That's a hose barb type nipple, almost completely constipated by muck.

Imagine what the rest of the cooling system looks like inside.

I guess you have some deuche bag mechanics over there too.

Looks to be the bleeding nipple on the water gallery bar on the exhaust side of the engine.

Previous specialist should be forced to EAT what came out! (yes I know how poisenous coolant is, almost lost a cat to it once)

Well i have finally been re-united (again) with L77.

Faz has sorted her out and now i'm really looking forward to the forth coming ring trip. The car is much smoother and pulling very well through the revs, i'll certainly be interested to see how it compared to the other 3.8's on our convoy....

The suspension also feels tight, thanks to some new top mounts and some other bits....

Steve is tres happy. Shame faz didn't do this sort of thing, 3 years ago!
