Issues with central locking module?

Hey all, brought my baby in to the dealership for some work on the O2 sensors and cats...and now they're telling me to central locking module (or whatever allows you to lock the car with the key or from inside) is dead!

I'm wondering if they blew a fuse or something while doing the Cat/O2 sensor repairs?

I've never had any problems with the locking mechanisms before, and am curious to know if anyone else has had a similar problem or knows of an easy fix.
They're quoting me $1K and change for this...which I think is absurd since it worked just fine before I drove it in.:grrrrr:
NE suggestions?

If they somehow messed up the fuel filler door locking acutator (not near where they were working), your central locking won't work. Not sure if there is a fuse for that; check the glove box card and you can also check inside the right rear of the trunk where the cutout is. There are a bunch of fuses and relays back there. If I had to guess where a fuse would go for a fuel filler door actuator, it would be there, just on the other side of the fuel filler door.

Try the second key, make sure it is not a key that simply somehow got "unprogrammed". They can reprogram it for no charge or you can do a search here. But you need two keys to reprogram.

Jerry
