I noticed today that my Ipod was not working this morning. It looks like the car was not charging the IPOD causing a drain on the IPOD battery. Is this suppose to happen? It was working fine all last week. I am thinking the car was never charging the IPOD to begin with. Has this happened to any of you guys?

My car DOES charge my ipod....has always worked well....I have a glove box set up, eliminated the 6 disc., from the glovee, replaced it with a dealer installed software set up....works flawless.

When you plug the iPod in, it should light up and show the BMW logo. Mine has been in the glove box 2 years. Maybe an iPod battery or connector issue. Borrow an iPod from a friend and check it again.

+1 Agreed. Make sure the plug is all the way in and see if the screen lights up. If not, maybe your battery died. Not uncommon for an IPOD battery to kick the bucket.

Yea I think the IPOD battery may have kicked the bucket! I was going to test charging it on the computer when I get home tonight. It was working just fine for the first two weeks. It was an option with the car installed in the center console. Thanks for all the input guys!
