my color scheme is grey black and yellow and carbon fiber
Still a work in progress and much more to do.

Here's some pics of it after and partially the install:

So far I think it looks great. Cant wait to see the finished product. I agree the yellow is a great touch, wasnt sure about it when I first read it but the front of your car looks great. Someone mentioned getting black kidneys and side, but I think CF kidneys and sides would bring out the front lip a little more and fall in line with your theme. I'm sure you already thought of that though. Anyway, kudos!

Looks good:M5thumbs:.

What are your other plans? Maybe black gill and kidneys? I really like yellow details, because you don't find them that often... especially yellow callipers:).
Thanks for your support guys,
my plans include:
Yellow calipers
changing the emblems to black and yellow
matte black roof
CF Grille
CF Fender Gills
CF Fenders
CF DTM hood
CF CSL trunk
^keep in mind I'll prob have the fenders and maybe the hood painted, if not all that flat clearcoated
KW V3
HRE 590R
Tint
LCI upgrade
exhaust
probably retrofit a universal rear underbody diffuser to the back, something like this but not super intense:

and hopefully my buddy will teach my to lay carbon fiber so i can make my own bumpers

So thats the plan! :biggrinbounce:

That's probably the best fitted splitter I've seen on an M5 so far (by best fitted I mean everything lines up perfectly).

Looks great!

Thanks guys,
I think red yellow and maybe the BMW logo blue would be good colors,
either way I just think the scoops should always be colorful.
No point in trying to fly under the radar with cops, you're going to get noticed in an M5 anyways! :haha:

John you have the same concept I am going for.
Here's a link to pics of my car. BTW I dropped the car today to Zohair at boost logic to install Sec. 1 and evosport pulley and to fix those ugly tips you see!!

Moe!
I actually had seen your pictures about two weeks ago,
I was stoked to see someone had a similar idea!
It's looking good, just put some coilovers on it and paint your calipers yellow and call it a day!
I don't see CF fenders though :hihihi:
anyways keep the good project up!

Very nice!
yeah I actually saw a picture of a black one with Cf hood fenders and bumper, wasn't a huge fan either but my buddy lays his own carbon fiber so i might have him make doors and other body panels for me, then Ill flat clearcoat whatever isn't in dry carbon already so the car will be flat carbon fiber :S
Are you keeping the headlights black though?

The dry carbon look is sick, I'm thinking of wraping all the cf parts in dry carbon. The headlights I want to take out but I have to buy a new set since it was painted and not tinted so for now ya I will keep them on. but the taillights I will keep.

Ah nice, well you should just have someone spray flat clearcoat on it instead of wrapping it (unless you want the ability to go back to glossy).
The tails look nice, I was just curious if your headlight shines a little dimmer with that tint on it though.
Anyhow, great project, update the pics when you get your stuff done!
