I just replaced my Contis with the Kumhos and now am having alot of rub issues! When I hit slight dip or bump I have rub on the rear tires! They are the same size etc as the previous. The side wall seems to be taller? HAs anyone had issues with these tires. Is there a solution, besides going back to the Contis or??? Any feedback would be appreciated!!!
You have spacers on the car. It looks as though the tyre is bigger which is causing the rubbing.
If you don't want to have to pay for new tyres again (I assume your tyre shop won't take your tyres back) then you can just remove your spacers until you wear the tyres out.
Oh and also try to find out where it's rubbing. Usually it's pretty obvious if you look inside the fender. On my car, the location that rubbed first was where the rear bumper meets the fender, there's a slight protrusion there and sanding it down a little also helped.
I will look and see where it is rubbing? I just dont want to have go to a lot of expense... with new spacer etc?
