For the past two mornings, my 2006 M5 has been going into limp mode. I have last years BMTechnic software still working on an old laptop so I pulled it out and used INPA for the first time. Hopefully, I am pulling the right codes from the right menu.
I tried to search the forums for these codes, but nothing was consistent other than that it might point out to be an O2 sensor or throttle actuator with one code for limp mode (engine malfunction, increased emissions).

Here's the codes:
DME / DDE: 2B07, 2B57, and 2796

Thanks so much in advance for the input and help! It feels really weird (lack of revs and hp), but super smooth while driving in limp mode.

Not trying to hijack, but I use INPA as well and would like to know how to clear the old codes?

On my version of INPA, after you choose, F6, <f6> for 5-series E60 including M5, there's a submenu, F4, <f4> to look at error memory. From there, you have multiple options to clear memory.
Here's a video I found:

I found one of the codes, 2796, on this thread:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60-m5-e61-m5-touring-discussion/299553-fault-codes-can-anyone-help.html

But nothing solid on the other two that I am having:
2B07
2B57

I am a complete n00b to INPA and there's probably somewhere in the software that can tell me what the codes mean?
Here's a couple of code repositories on the web:
