good luck and welcome...

as you are no doubt acutely aware, a previous relationship with an eisenmann distributor is in deep controversy - this will have an impact on you there is some lingering confusion...

I notice you are in Illinois, uh, so was that other company... ...do you have ANY current/former relationship with them?

I'd recommend that you become aggressive in looking for, and defeating any lingering misleading links - for example, if you type eisenmann into google english, the #2 link is CA, but uh oh, the previos vendor, still somehow comes up as the #1 link, still showing a relatonship that does not exist -clever...(easily done with a pc geneating hits) - also, MODBARGAINS shows the previous vendors parts in a drop down on a page titled eisenmann;

...I'd be looking for things like this to help to cut the cord, clear up confusion -better for you in the long run...

This very same question came up on E90post.com. You can see our reply at this link- http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2149682&postcount=856

I can understand your concerns, and will do my best to address them one by one.
#1: Your question: Why did we have a Meisterschaft exhaust on our website.
Answer: We were caught off guard by Eisenmann's announcement as well, and immediately began removing all non Genuine systems from our site. It's quite a bit of work, given how many systems were offered by John. We have since removed that system.
Additionally, we will be supplying individual certificates of authenticity and certificates of German TUV approval with each system. We'll have bills of landing from Germany on file, as well as a great deal of extra documentation to ensure legitimacy.

#2: Your question: Does John Kang own IND distribution.
Answer: No. IND Distribution was originally opened by Ilia Smolov. I have been involved in the local BMW community for many years. I've worked at Renn-Art (another vendor here), and have been a key member on our local forum, Euroteknik, for nearly a decade.
I have since partnered with Anthony Palella, in order to help the company grow. At that time, we closed "Industry Distribution", and added "IND Distribution" as a DBA to A&L Autobody, a body shop that has been in business for over 30 years. Anthony, my business partner, has also been a driving force in the BMW community here in Chicago for longer than most people have been BMW enthusiasts. His shop is responsible for some of the most impressive BMW show and race cars in the region.
Since this is all public domain, feel free to check this for yourself on the Illinois Secretary of State's website:
http://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/
Search "Industry Distribution", and you'll find a company owned by Ilia Smolov, that's since been closed and is no longer active.
Search "IND Distribution", and you'll find a company that is a DBA for A&L Tuning, a company run by Anthony Palella.
#3: Your question: You're not sure of our legitimacy, given our sparse website.
Answer: Once again, I understand your concern. We've had approximately one week to completely restructure our website in order to add the new content necessary to create a national distribution website. The site is of course therefore still under construction. Our web designer is fast, but not instant, and more information will be re-submitted to our site as time goes on.

We've got quite a few very satisfied customers on E90Post, as can be seen by checking these reviews:

There's also quite a few local E90Post members that have seen us in person, seen our office, seen our shop, and have known us for years. You can see some of them responding in those reviews.
Here is a photo of our shop:

I apologize for the long-winded response, but I take our reputation and our legitimacy VERY seriously. We've worked very very hard for a very long time now to be known as trustworthy people within the European car community, and I hope you can appreciate that.

Thanks for the update. Are there any plans on migrating the current GB from CA Automotive to IND so the folks in Western/MidWestern/Canada can order the cans from you?
