I recently had my DME reprogrammed by the
dealer, who had just received the software
to do this from BMW USA. I had not had the
Service Engine Soon light on for weeks, but
now I am pretty convinced I feel a notable
improvement in engine performance since the
change was made. Could the oxygen sensor
problem that supposedly caused this light to
come on have been causing a reduction in my
engine's performance that reprogramming the
DME has fixed?
Not complaining, mind you, just curious what
