If I knew this car was available, I never would've gotten an M5!

No!! Why, tell me why? It's not like they made a 750csi that we can say is M-tech.
I have a friend with an 850csi and he knows better than to re-badge his car as an M8.

The M-cars blend in so well as a regular BMWs to non-enthusiasts, that the only people who would know what an "M" car is would know that this isn't one!


And the fact is, I think the 740IL (which I think is what this is) is a great looking car. If he wasn't a poser I would have given that guy a nod if I saw him driving.

OMG what a joke! I mean if they make a real M7 now - say with a V12 TT and 650-700hp - then I would def go for it!
