Use a split crank instead for the V8 instead of crossplane crank. This will be the difference between a crappy V8 burble (like a Camaro) and a canvas ripping V8 like the Ferrari's.

BMW, you do a split-crank and I will love you again.:grinyes:

Umm if that would also produce Ferrari "reliability" I'm against.
Crankconfig has nothing to do with reliability. But huge difference on sound.

Power delivery, firing order and at which points in the revolution each cylinder fires. Has a much bigger difference than just sound my friend...

Not much difference in power. Might rev up quicker but thats about it. And sound to die for.
