hi pepole got in my car this morning and noticed m5 2005 model and the heads up display not working propley tells you how fast u r going but doesnt have green rev counter around mph display any ideas cos bmw are just to dear hope u can help regards keith

Go into HUD settings in the iDrive menu (under settings) and put it into M mode.

could be that button left of steering accidentally switched to off?

I thought mine stopped working, turned out the polarized sunglasses I was wearing made it invisible to me.

I'll take that bet. Especially since he said that the speed display shows up but not the tach. RIF.
