...rest glove box. So I open the primary arm rest glove box in between the front seats and am presented with another "box" that looks to be a perfect size for a cell phone. But this secondary box is wasting space and I would rather just have that entire "box" area for misc items. Looking for a DIY on how to remove this "inner box".

Thanks

I agree with you! Such a big waste of space in my opinion as well. I have to take a close look at it. I will post an update on my observation.

Simple to do:

Remove the 4 screws on the bottom
Squeeze one of the arm/hinge pieces out of the slot
This next step, I opted to just pull it out and break the other hinge as I will never be putting it back in. I'm sure there is a "proper" way, but this way worked best for me.

So now you have a snapped off broken peice of plastic in the armrest of your $100K car? I think that's the reason none of us have done it that way. With these cars, it's either done right or not done at all.

Well like I said, it was suitable for me and meet my needs. Not the "best" way to do it nor meant to be a DIY steps...but I was fine with it.
