:sad2: With gas prices soaring it will interesting to compare prices globally on filling up the e60; my guess is in the us it could be as much as 80 dollars

I dont' mean to be harsh, but gas prices in many EU countries represent extorsion to me! With so much tax revenue related to oil products, I wonder who's more addicted to oil, consumers or their governments!!!

Still, I'm glad my M5 will be a weekend/fun car. I'd have a heart attack every time I pull up to the gas station... if it was a daily driver.

Just filled up the wife's X5 3.0d Sport and it came to £84.00, whick on the current exchange rate is about $150.36!! But to be fair the range it gives the car is about 600 miles, unlike the 200 I get from the M5.

Yup, it's getting silly - I read this morning that the oil companies are having to refit their gas stations here, because 70% of the pumps are unable to display a price higher than 99.9p per litre.

Filled up the 840 this morning at 100.9p per litre, with a 95 litre tank! That's nearly $180 for a tank of gas.

wow the sterling and euro prices make me feel that it is still cheap here but if prices keep going up we may have to ask gustav to ask bmw about building a hybrid M car at Frankfurt:1:
