No he just had way too much to drink before I got there and I di dnot know that or see it before he got in the car...

Usually if someone is drunk enough to have problems driving, they are drunk enough that you can tell in other ways. Speach, walking, etc.

Moral of the story, never let anyone drive your car, especially if they have been drinking.. AT ALL! Hell, I don't let myself drive my cars when I have been drinking more than a beer or two.

Of course, it may have nothing to do with drinking, and more to do with a total lack of driving ability in your friend. And BMW clutches do feel much different, and have a much higher release that many other cars.
