OK so thsi was very very stupid. So I joined some of my friends for dinner last week and had just one drink with them and left when they were leaving. well this one friend sees my car and just hassles the hell out of me to let him drive it just a few blocks, so after contenplating I say heck why not he has been driving sticks for years an dI trust him.
BAD IDEA:grrrr:
He gets in teh cra starts it up and revs it to about 5k and starts very slowly letting go of the clutch, the car must have been going maybe 5-10mph while the revs were still up at 5k. I very fast tell him to stop and give him all hell.
How much damage was done to my clutch?
Now when I drive it I feel like the clutch does not grab as early as it used to before this idiot drove my car. doe sthat have anything to do with what happened?

I foolishly allowed both my boss's son and my borther-in-law drive mine shortly after purchase, and both of them slipped the clutch. I too thought some damage must have been done, but after a couple days the clutch seemed fine.

My son took mine out about a week away I got it. I told him to go easy. When he brought it back a hour later I rushed outside to meet him and I get this plume of clutch. Boy was I mad. :grrrrr:

I was at a neighbor's house over the weekend and mentioned that I was looking into an M5. the neighbor commented that he thought I should get a mercedes. I politely declined and held back my reasons for not wanting a slush box.

All I can say is never trust an attractive, single girl with a little too much too drink that asks you "Whats the pedal on the left for" as she starts the car!! ouich

Moral of the story, never let anyone drive your car, especially if they have been drinking.. AT ALL! Hell, I don't let myself drive my cars when I have been drinking more than a beer or two.
Of course, it may have nothing to do with drinking, and more to do with a total lack of driving ability in your friend. And BMW clutches do feel much different, and have a much higher release that many other cars.
