Please post your M5 speeding tickets here.
M5 only.......
Only speeding tickets and one post for each ticket. Easier to tabulate. Please, no bragging. Highest speed will not win an award. The award will be the satisfaction of
knowing you are not the only one.

2) How were you caught, radar, plane
pursuit ect.
3) Do you have a radar detector
4) The outcome $$$$

All are members can benefit from this in some way although I'm not sure how.

One, giong from 280S onto 92East (Bay Area). Cop said he caught me slowing down at 85 in a 55, ticketed for 75. With trafficschoolonlin.com and chanrges, total damage was $157.xx

Been driving even faster ever since. One of these days, car will be impounded. Oh well, having fun until then :-D

1) Speed: "you were clocked at 89mph, I wrote you up for 84"

2) How were you caught: plane

3) Do you have a radar detector: yes (it saved me from several potential tickets earlier in the drive!)

4) The outcome $$$: $150 fine, $24 court filing fee to request traffic school, $25 (? - not sure I remember this right. Could have been a bit less) to go to TrafficSchoolOnline. So - a $200 boo boo.

And I'll add:

State: California
County: Solano

1) 50 in a 35, pretty lame if you ask me
2) Radar, I hope the radar gun leaks radiation or something and gives the cop a tumor in his head that goes undetected until it one day rears itself and causes him a slow and painful death, too harsh? he was just doing his job right? lol
3) No, not then anyway, am getting one now, V1
4) so far $76 to a lawyer recomended by a judge, supposedly the only thing I will have to pay for now is the court fees

How about you bean counter?

1) Wrote me up for 73 in a 50 on the wonderfully curvy HWY 17 during the peak of the commute
2) Caught by radar from a CHP who was going the other direction and shot me across the cement median. (Nice shooting, pardner!)
3)No detector. ARGGGGHH!

4)Not sure yet, figure it will be around $140

85 in a 45 with a k40 installed (it did not go off). k40 was defective and was replaced with a new one, which works great.

resolution--atty got reduced to improper equipment, which is not a moving violation--therefore no insurance points.

Steve!

You know that K40 will PAY for any speeding ticket you get within the first year (some conditions apply)?
