A set of fresh brake pads can last anywhere from 3 hours and 300 miles to 25 years and 50K+ miles.

This is from personal experience. My mother gifted my daughter her car with 50K miles with original pads. I have eaten a set of new pads in a single morning.

Moral....you need to check them to measure remaining pad thickness. Guessing or even extrapolating based upon your history is impossible because rotor surface condition, pad type, usage & driving behavior affects wear rate.
