I found it under the black trim panel of the rear bumper. Looks like someones initials, if I remember correctly something like "H.E". Dont know if this means something else or if it was the actual initials of the technician mounting the bumpers. I believe some people have found the same on their front bumper. This is however getting more rare today, with a lot of cars getting a well deserved respray after many years in use.HD91- you mentioned in your post that your bumper was signed. Did the technicians actually sign anywhere on our cars? Where on the bumper should one look for a signature?
on my car it's on the front bumper, behind the rub strip on the passenger side, signed and dated, 22/2/90.HD91- you mentioned in your post that your bumper was signed. Did the technicians actually sign anywhere on our cars? Where on the bumper should one look for a signature?
Hi David,Hi guys , I've recently bought back my old 3.8 LE , GE00334 .
Would it be possible to see the build sheet ?
Yeah, you are right. The LE-version could have been the "M5 Soper" if you wish, as with the Winkelhock and Cecotto.er, presuming it was built for Steve Soper the BTCC & BMW works driver?
if so, quite a catch....
I'm pretty sure that my car is alreay on the register (in fact I think you have some photos of my silver grey extended nappa leather interior on you site - which I can refresh for you later this weeks as I'm currently cleaning the leather).
however, I haven't managed to get the full build spec of my car from anywhere, even BMW SA have no details.
Can you help? chassis number BB77054
or have I already asked you
-My thoughts exactly ......may make all the difference in relation to what I do with her !
