Ive had my coilovers for about 40-45,000 miles. Is there something to look for in the ride feel or is there an adverage time they should be replaced? Thanks,

josh.

It's just the strut that wears out like any strut, it's not just because it's a coilover. Things to look for would be floatyness, thats ussally the big symtom. But most last 50-80k miles since most use real good struts. Some vary due to over lowing, but shoudn't be a problem.

most shocks start to go a little 'soft' after 40-50k miles and do not damp so well. If they are adjustable you can stiffen them up and compensate in part from wear and tear.

I would change at 50k miles just to ensure it's feelin tight and like a new car
