High RPM shift in Auto Start in 1st gear

Hello,

I have noticed sometimes when in Auto mode it takes quite high rpm to to shift from 1st to 2nd 3rd etc. Around 4k rpm.

Also when that occurs the car doesnt start from 2nd gear but from 1st.

Does anyone know what conditions need to be met for the car to start in 2nd gear from a stop? Pressure, incline or what sensors?

Its a Euro car.

Mess around with the drivelogic modes a bit. Don’t euro cars default to D5 or am I misremembering? Been a while since I had my SMG and I never did the euro coding so it always defaulted to D3. Switch between all 5 auto modes and see if the lower ones behave like you’re looking for.
