Started to hear a rubbing / squeaking sound when turning my wheel both left and right - my local service can't take me until next week at best .... Wondering if it may simply be a fluid issue - I don't have my car with me now, but I do not recall seeing info in the owner's manual on where to add power steering fluid, whether there's a specific type to use etc. I may have missed it, but I'd really appreciate any help.

Many Thanks,
Bill

Sounds like it could be as simple as insufficient power steering fluid (hopefully).

There is indeed a little reservoir you can check, facing the engine bay it is slightly to your right, mid section. You will see a cap with the appropriate icon. You can pick up a bottle of power steering fluid or simply ATF (automatic transmission fluid) from any Pepboys/Strauss/Nappa, but don't overfill. Good luck!
