I located an Individual E39 but cannot seem to identify the interior color code. Last 7 of VIN is GR73960 and from the one BMW VIN decoder that seems to be working, the Individual color code (Z1xx) that it spits out doesn't help at all. Any way to find out what the exact BMW name for this color is or is it really customized to the point that it's unique? Maybe someone working at BMW can look up the exact specs of the car? I know owners specing out their cars with Oyster or Champagne interior colors and it still gives them the Z1xx color code so there has to be a way to look up an official name in case you want to match parts or repair the leather somehow. At least I would think so. Thanks to anyone that can help me!

I don't think photos will do any help but it is a beige type of color. Whether it's SandBeige, Champagne, Oyster, Pearl Beige,or something else cannot be reflected accurately by photos. I can't tell the difference between Sand Beige and Champagne in a lot of online photos.

Just need to figure out the name so I can be sure that it will match the parts currently in my car. The car is located overseas and the seller has been very kindly trying to help out, but it's not like I can walk over there to compare colors in person or return an interior that easily lol. And no, the seller isn't aware of the color name. Just knows that it's an Individual beige of some sort.

Sandbeige with piping maybe?

Depending what side of the pond you’re on, i would try calling a dealership that specialises in Individual and Alpina. They will give you all the information you need. In the UK, that would be either Sytner Nottingham or BMW Park Lane.

NF.
