Hi,
Since moving to Florida, my headliner has begun squeaking loudly whenever I drive over uneven pavement.

Short of having the dealer disassemble the headliner and check/lube everything, I have been contemplating just taking some silicone lube spray and directing the hose up inside the headliner and spraying around the areas that seem to squeak to see if it stops. Is this a bad idea? Am I going to screw anything up by trying this?

Thanks for your thoughts.

The lack of a sunroof is one of my favorite features of the M6, since the sunroof always rattle (and I never use it).
It seems even without a sunroof, there is no escape from noise from above.

Seems a little risky. The spray could soak into the headliner, resulting in stains or smells.
