No kidding. The E39 design was started almost 25 years ago and first released into production in Feb 1995, so the 20 year SOP anniversary is coming up in a few months.

No kidding. The E39 design was started almost 25 years ago and first released into production in Feb 1995, so the 20 year SOP anniversary is coming up in a few months.
Yeah the E39 stayed some what a head of the game for a long time and took a while for the average new car to catch up and we didn't notice the age. So now it's getting really old it seems to have snuck up on us.
