Hi people!

Here's the skinny. I just bought a new car ('91 e34 m5) in LA, I live in Houston though. So a
friend and I are flying out Saturday May 3rd and driving it back. Instead of
turning this into a 30 hour marathon, we're going to take it easy and cruise
around the west side of the country. For now our only plans are to start in LA
on the 3rd and head down to San Diego on the 4th for the Red Bull Air Race. Then
head back north.. maybe to Vegas, then probably to Stanford to visit some
friends. Then over to Colorado area. Other than that we'd like to be in the
Austin area about Friday the 9th. I am hoping we can meet up with some friendly
car folks along the way! Any road recommendations are welcome also. If you're
feeling particularly generous, we are looking for places to stay. OH! and I
almost forgot the most important part, food. Restaurant recommendations welcome
also!

Hopefully the weather will comply and we'll have a lovely week!

Let me know where you'll be and whatcha think!

Happy motoring,
-Jason Miller</pre>

Red Bull Air Race, fantastic. Will you be driving into Arizona or across New Mexico at any point. If so get some shots!

Grab 290 at Junction, Texas from I-10 and hit Pepe's for some local flavor

I am in austin and am happy to greet you, but I have no room at my house. Give a jingle on the email when you get close. If you are coming south to austin from Colorado, you have to take 183 and be sure to stay the night in Amarillo at the Palo Duro Canyon state park. It's one of Texas' best kept secrets.
I camped here a couple years ago when I was driving my 57 tooler home from Boise

I am itchin for a road trip
