It´s really great. Who said that this car
didn´t get any attention from others?
Ok, it´s not the same attention as a Ferrari but I already met people that admires the M5.
One person even told his girlfriend (walking next to him) that this is the "greatest".
He had a 3 series something himself.

Congratulations!

You're right - the car attracts attention - but generally only from people who know cars. There are many nice new cars in the company parking lot, - including a Ferarri 360 Modena , my M5, Porsches, Audis, etc.

Several people have commented to me that while the Ferarri attracts the most attention from the general public, those "in the know" think I made the best choice.

I happen to agree with them!

Congrats, and welcome to the club! I have Avus blue as well (with all black exlusive / bruyere club wood). To some people (my ex-wife included), it's just a blue BMW with big wheels. To people who know cars, I get a lot of thumbs-up, and people who want to race. Love stomping on them Maximas.
