Hi guys, I am looking for a better "Hot" point for my angel eyes and high beam HID relays. The positive battery post is perfect, but I cannot stand seeing these two red wires drape across the beautiful black engine...they stick out like a real aftermarket job. Anyone have a nice hidden, high amp draw hot underhood?

Thanks,
Joe

Who chooses to leave wires open vs. using a loom? Use the positive terminal and a few feet of black braided nylon sleeving:

Color PET Expandable Braided Sleeving – Resists Moisture and Abrasion

You can even loom it under the plenum to hide it all. when I did the HIDs and AEs on my 540 i used the positive terminal and ran the wires with the injector loom, around the back of the engine, and then up with the OEM loom that runs along the fender rail.

Thanks for the info, I like to keep my wires short, and they were perfect to the relays from the battery teminal. It makes perfect sense to loom them and run them around the engine. It is supposed to be nice and warm in NY tomorrow, sounds like a good job to do.

Thanks,
Joe
