After a great review in January's BMW Car and reading that the best side effect to doing away with the MAF's is a more natural feeling throttle, I spoke with Evolve just before Christmas.
For me the M5 is a pretty great car with the exception of the non-linear throttle and jerky behaviour. It's the one thing that stops me loving it. Evolve reassures me that this will be fixed and I can try out their test car first but I also want to make sure there are no long term side effects, reduction in any HP or torque anywhere in the rev band and no affect to MPG. MPG is bad enough!
I also like the idea of the Sport memory function so I'll have that too!
Any opinions based on fact are most welcome
Thanks
Matt
