That won't be possible. BMW is scheduling the M5 UDE until August, and then they're going to decide whether to offer it to owners of the 2001 M5s. They specifically state that you can't sign up for the event until after you have taken delivery of your M5. They don't want people going for it and driving their M5s and then for some reason not take delivery of their car. The trip is worth $1260, and BMW gives you a 1099 Form stating that for tax purposes.
According to BMW, "the actual price of the program is not included in the M5's MSRP; the customer receives the offer as an additional benefit from BMW." So the cost is somehow absorbed by BMW (such nice guys). I have no doubt that the program will be continued in the 2001 model year because BMW is getting such a great response from the owners.
