Hey guys I have an E39M5 with Dinan cold air intake. All of a sudden I started to get loud air intake sounding shifts. Hard to explain but sounds like an 18 wheeler going g through the gears. Kinda like when the car is just getting warmed up . Usually goes away after its warmed up but it is not going away. Any ideas?

all I hear when a semi is next to me rowing gears is the pusher fan. It’s not intake noise, but it is air noise and could be what you’re hearing. The engine fan’s clutch might be failing, causing it to spin too fast as rpm’s increase.
