Hi all,

I'm new here, I currently have a `99 Imola Red M5 and I live in Munich (though I'm swedish). Now my question: I've heard rumours that the M5 engine will not deliver full power if the DSC is active (default mode). I Don't know if I belive this, have anyone heard anything about this matter?

You might of heard about the problem encountered when trying the test the M5 on a dynometer. Since the front wheels are not moving, a rev limiter is imposed at around 5600RPM...this might come from the DSC. You can disable this feature by removing fuses 17 and 30 in the glovebox.
