I have a 2000 M5 that I have a fuel cell for. As I attempt to install the fuel cell, I notice that the stock tank has 2 fuel Sending units in it....1 on each side....my new cell will only require 1 sending unit so I am wondering if I can simply use the sending unit with the pump and leave other wire harness unplugged or will I need to rig the other sending unit harness somehow. Thanks a lot

Please read more carefully

Read the posts from Rao's 2 links. They do not directly address my new question. Please post relevant thread links or pertinent info but please refrain from posts that don't answer the original question. If you don't know, no problem....just don't post. Thanks a lot and have a super day!

Oh, ok. Some people would consider giving the exact information needed to answer the question would be helpful, but apparently not everyone share that view.

A surprisingly restrained answer there, rao. Well done.
