New member "Techiehost" sent me a message on AIM asking me to post this because his registration approval is still pending, so here it is. He has setup a FTP server for our use, this way we can view videos and pictures and not worry about the links dying from bandwidth being overused, etc. It is located at ftp://67.19.55.79 , the username is bmw and the password is m5. I will probably be uploading some of my stuff in the near future. You may also contact him on aim at "Truculent Guru" until his registration on here is approved.

I think so. I copied (Ctrl C) from my C drive and pasted into the folder that was open (the E39). Let me check to see if it worked . . .

It appears that it worked. I made one duplicate of a picture that I cannot delete. Oops! ouich

How can we download things?

Just open the FTP -server with your browser or with an FTP-prog and then you can just click on it and download it ............

I can't seem to get the ftp site to accept this username and password. Is anyone else having trouble gaining access to the site?

unfortunately we are having difficulties with the server, due to hard drive failures. The problem is being fixed, should be back up within the next few hours, all the files should be recovered that have been uploaded so far, I think last time I checked we passed 1 gig, mostly videos of M5s, awesome, nice work, hopefully the server will not have any further problems, it has been fine for 4 months, and then all of a sudden this happens, so sorry about that, if it happens again I can just put up another ftp on my New York server.

Yes, an example would be:

ftp://bmw:[email protected]/Enzoride.mpeg
