I have an unassembled S62 engine that I'am unsure that I will ever use
since I got my eyes on a Porsche GT1 project I can't get out of my mind...

so if I get a decent bid I'll let go of it.

The assembly is intended for super or turbocharging.
Note: I will not part this package.

1. ready machined S62 block, Darton sleeved 93mm, and M11 steel inserts for head bolts.
2. Matching CP pistons, cheramic coated, 9.0:1 compression.
3. Arrow (UK) H Beam rods
4. Brand new Crank
5. Flywheel and clutch Stage III+ from SPEC
6. Rotating assembly above fully balanced.

7. Ported heads (mild), full radius seat jobs, oe valves, sport springs, retainers, oe lifters, matched oe intakes.

8. Kelleners cams and Standard cams

9. RD headers, RD stacks.

10. a lot of oe parts, (complete S62 engine in parts)

11. Cable assembly + Brand new ECU.

so - any bids? :2:

Holy crap. I just drooled all over my keyboard.

Ballpark? Well, I should be more specific, no I don't want to trade a ballpark for the parts, I was asking for a ballpark price:hihi:

everything is for consideration, just the new parts above are well over 12k EUR - excluding works done, I guess bids under 7k EUR don't even need to bother...

I'am on a quest gathering 15k for a nude Racing Porsche chassies.

btw.
I have two brand new Rotrex C38-81's Superchargers that I can part out also
for 1500 EUR each. or 2750 for both.

Holy crap! Thats a nice little setup! Too bad it's not getting built up, but understandable to go for a Porsche Racer..
How does this block setup compare to how DA did their redhead motors?
What kind of head flow #'s did you get from porting?
Spec on Kelleners cams vs stock cams?

Good luck with the sale. Wish I was in a position to do something like this.

Well I might keep this engine for the Porsche chassie :) (it's a mid engine tubular racing chassie) I'am not a "brand"-religious man... but if I can get the right $ for it - it consider getting a flax six "as it should be" :)

The block spec is pretty much the same as DA (to my understanding), plus the addition of M11 steel inserts for serious boost. (using M11 head bolts)

intake port flow is measured at 240cfm compared to stock 202, slightly better but no revolution, again not that important with max ported heads on a high-psi-boosted non-all-out engine, they wont be an issue powerwise.

Kelleners cams spec .are actually unknown to me, I have not measured them (didnt have them when I did my cam-comparison session a couple of years ago)
but they seem (by just a visual) pretty much the same as the Schrick ones and the Catcams also for that matter....

starting to wonder who's copying who... - they can be a good alternative to
remove some torque from the low end and provide some extra rpms in the other..., powerwise they dont contribute much on a high-psi-boosted engine.

expected output from this setup (with the rotrex's)is 800hp/800nm with a conservative setup. you could ez do 1000+ hp - but then you need more
serious reinforcements on the bottom end
(main bearing/low end block girdle).

I'm up for one of the blocks without sleeves and also interested in the other pieces if you still have them. Please PM me prices. Thank you!
