This item came from a car with 78K documented miles. I bought the entire car for parts from a friend who had a frontal accident in January.

This is the latest gen MKIV DVD satellite navigation computer and works in many late model BMWs...comes with a map DVD inside (not sure which version). These sell refurbished for $850 WITHOUT map discs and on Ebay for over $800 - and that's if you don't have to buy from Europe or somewhere else.

Buy from a trusted board member with excellent sales feedback on many internet forums (I run two internet forums myself and also an online auto parts sales company - not BMW related - for 10 years now).

Does this inlcude the both the unit that goes in the dash and the unit that mounts in the trunk above the CD changer? I have a MY00 that has the 4x3 screen and CD based NAV. Thanks.

No, this is just the DVD player itself. The screen is already sold but you can buy them from Ebay or bimmernav.com - they run $550-650 or so.
