Price Drop

I am dropping the price to $31,000 with mods, or $27,000 without. First one with the $ gets the car.

Mike,

Is the TUBI exhaust the standard or the loud version? Do you still have the original exhaust?

Exhaust

The Tubi is the regular version. Yes I still have the OEM exhaust.

I have only experienced the factory exhaust. How would you describe the sound difference?

Deeper

Hi, the Tubi has a lower tone in the low RPM range, and a higher pitch as the RPM rises. Do a search in the E39 M5 forum for Tubi, and you will find numerous audio clips of Tubis.

Congrats on the car.

Mike,

Thanks again for the smooth sale. I really enjoyed driving the car back down the coast, especially after I got out from under the rain. I got up extra early this morning, changed the oil, adjusted the drivers door latch, detailed out the car, and took my family to church in it. After church we went for a rather brisk drive up the mountains, and then lunch. My wife loves it. She's already bugging me to get the Nav in her 530I updated with the perspective view, and she definitely wants the Tec cupholder. She's already nicknamed it the "DarthVadermobile."

I still think your nuts for selling the car, but I'm happy nonetheless! You just enjoy that E60, remembering that it was Chris Bangle that upchucked on the E60 styling buck. I'll stick with the classically beautiful E39.
