2000 E39 M5

WBSDE9340YBZ95104
225,000 miles

Anthracite Metallic / Red and Black
No rust, TX/GA car, straight body, many rock chips.
Technical Graphite interior trim

Selling because we just moved from Atlanta suburbs to downtown Atlanta and need to downsize from 6 cars to 3 cars.

I have a short maintenance log here.

Lots of maintenance under the previous owner, I have receipts going back to at least 2010.

Major maintenance and repairs under my ownership in the last 5 years / 6,000 miles:

transmission fluid, diff fluid, spark plugs
all bushings replaced with PowerFlex (20 hours labor!)
new rear wheel bearings
new radiator
new rotors and xp20/xp12 brake pads
new MAF sensors
new fuel filter
new front struts + Ground Control camber plates
illumintated ZHP shifter
new Dinan rear sway bar with BeastPower brackets
new power steering pressure hose
new a/c blower motor and resistor
new thermostat
replaced torn front seats with seats from a lower mileage E39 M5
new battery

Also had 5 oil changes, based on time rather than mileage.

Other minor things that I replaced (adds up $ really quick):

square wheel setup
Euro leather armrest with storage tray
center console storing partition
steering wheel
rear window seal
new sun visors
front and rear door sills
new windshield and windshield cowl cover kit
leather handbrake lever
rear view mirror
engine belly pan, outer underbody covers, front wheel liners, pork chops ($$$)
RL, RR, and FR window regulator with motor
new floor mats, roundels, center console storage cubby
16:9 navi unit

Things still to be fixed:

1. Rear shocks are leaking. If I keep the car, the plan is to replace the front and rear with JIC Cross coilovers (available for purchase separately). I delayed this step just in case the new owner wants to go a different route.

2. Trifecta ABS lights are on. The ABS module was repaired by ModuleMaster in 2017 and I can send it out under warranty to be fixed. I can work on it with the new owner.

Price:

$11,000

$11,900 with the JIC coilovers (exactly what I paid, not trying to make a profit)

Also have a spare wheel and a Peake code reader that can be negotiated separately.

This combo is SUPER RARE...I own one. It is 1 of 4 in the US, 1 of 5 in the world.

My car has been a garage queen, just under 18k miles - but this combo is VERY good looking if you like the two-tone interiors.

lol, I also own one but an '01 - 153k. If your numbers are accurate, that's 3 of 5 made worldwide accounted for on this thread. 😲

OP (and to the buyer) - congrats. Did you sell it locally?
