Hi guys,

I want to remove the pin in the front struts to make it less negative camber..

Tried the hex (allen) key but it just rounds off, hopefully this can be removed without dropping the strut.. I should have taken them off when I did the springs hmm

Has anyone removed the pin to run less camber? any tips on how to remove? :)

Thanks :)

just finished removing the pins :D

found some posts suggesting to drill them out so I tried it and went pretty smoothly

first one took me like 30min trying to figure out how much to drill and etc.. the second one took less than 5min.

steps..

1. remove the plastic cover that covers the strut nuts, unplug the EDC module and gain more space

2. start drilling the center of the pin using 6mm drill bit. Make sure that you drill it in the correct angle, it will end up costing you a lot more time trying to drill out the remaining bit if you dont drill it straight down. align your drill with the angle of strut mount bolt as a guide

3. keep drilling and the pin will snap off once the bottom of it is all grinded and cut

:D

I usually knock them out with a hammer and chisel. Or a left handed drill bit works well too cause it'll just grab it and unscrew it
