These are the rims:

They've been sitting in my garage since I traded my E60 M5 for an F10.

The rears are perfect flush fitment for E60 M5. Forgestar made me a custom hubcentric ring + 12mm spacer for the fronts to be flush - or you can run them without the spacer if you don't care about perfect flush.

One rim has a slight defect from a pothole - fixable for 150 bucks from a local wheel guy - I just haven't had time to do it yet.

Here's a shot of the bend - note the wheel holds air perfectly - I drove with it like this for months:

More info:

  • Wheels are in textured black finish
  • The wheels come with a practically brand new set of 20" Michelin Pilot Super Sports - 295/30R20 rears and 255/35R20 fronts
  • E60 M5 TPMS preinstalled on all four - not sure if this is compatible with other vehicle's TPMS systems
  • These wheels need hubcentric rings, which I have and will provide with the sale
  • One of the original wheels which I still have developed a crack - likely from a pothole or something. Forgestar replaced it free of charge. The replacement doesn't need the hubcentric rings - they changed the way they manufacturered them right after I bought these. It's finish is also slightly different than the others, but not noticeably so. You'll get the cracked rim as well which you may be able to get repaired and use as a spare
  • My plan was to have the new rim bored out slightly to accept the custom spacer+hubcentric ring so the front setup matches. As it is, I ran with a 12mm spacer + hubcentric ring on the front on one side, and the custom spacer+ring on the other.
So bottom line it will take a bit of effort to get these perfect - but you're getting a great deal regardless.

I paid around 5k for everything. First 2500 bucks takes everything. Just get them out of my garage.

I am in the market for a set of rims. I am interested in what you have, but the few undesirable reason are hard to overlook. What's the lowest you will go? PM me?

PM Sent. I understand about the undesirable stuff - that's why I priced everything so low. The tires alone are worth 1500. TPMS +300. etc.

But I get it. If they don't sell soon I'll get them repaired and relist.

Thank you for the reply. The bend in the rim isn't my biggest worry. I know it still holds air and it's not a deal breaker. What I am more concerned about is the one rim that is a little off color, are you able to get a picture of this? I am also unsure what these would cost normally, so I do not want to throw a number out there.

Apologize for not taking this to PM, apparently I don't have enough posts to send PMs.

I will try - it's pretty much unnoticeable unless you look for it, but the new one has ever-so-slightly more sheen than the older ones. You can really only tell when the wheels are perfectly clean. Forgestar said it was just due to age on this textured black finish. I'll get pix and share asap.

New the wheels themselves were around 2k. Plus PSS tires, mounting, tpms etc my total spend was around 4500 (earlier est was off).

No worries - it'll save me answering the same qs to other interested parties. :)

Finally remembered to post fix -- sorry; these are also a bit dirty but I cleaned the faces I took pix of. It's hard to tell but the new one has just a slight bit more sheen than the older ones. Whoever buys these absolutely will not be disappointed. They're also very light - the rears, despite being larger and wider than stock, are just a hair lighter than stock, with the tire. They also come with both BMW and Forgestar center caps. I ran with BMW caps because I prefer the stock logo.

These are sick wheels offered up at what I think is a very reasonable price. Make me an offer.

New front wheel finish:

Old:

Old v new - can see the bend in the rim on the right (old) wheel:

Whole set in my garage - rears look like steam rollers :) - tread is practically new:

2 years later bump. make an offer. get them out of my garage.

i also have a great spare wheel - bought a cheap black rim from tire rack, and a 255 to wrap it in. take that too. it's brand new and perfect as a spare.

Since the photos are dead, I put all pix in this icloud album: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0iGf693ZG6lyjo

I've been on a car merry go round lately man -- Aston's sold now; picked up a 991.2 911 GTS. It's gonna be a keeper for a while. What a car! :)

Another shot at pix - inline this time.

Full description in earlier posts - basically, full set of wheels (with some minor, correctable issues), nearly new staggered pilot sports, and I'll throw in a spare wheel for the E60 M5 I used for a while -- 500 bucks(!). You can't beat this.

I'm in the DC metro area. Come get em.
