Anyone have experience with this fault: Flow rate secondary air rate too slow bank 1 ? There is a hose issue on E46 cars but can't find anything on the E39 M5.

I would guess a failed secondary air pump .The Electric pump motor behind
rt side of front bumper under the rt headlamp.................HTH

Thanks Pat, I am still looking into this. The Bentley manual explains the operation but has no system checks or tests. I will post something when I get it solved.
