Hi, Finally after been waiting for 1448 days since I signed the contract I got my Car. First I must give very good credit and thanks to the BMW organisation who has taken very good care of me; this including BMW M in Garching, BMW Sweden and BMW Germany in many different ways. THANK YOU!

Regarding my New M5: FANTASTIC. The car is just great! SMG is Super! The sound inside the car while reving over 3000rpm is amasing. I wounder if I can keep my licence for a very long time... I can not wait until tomorrow so I can go out driving again.

P.S. The color is Silverstone II

This car is simply amazing. I have never driven a car that builds speeds so effortlessly! Simply astonishing pull from the V10.

And you know what? It hasn´t reved over 5500 rpm yet.

Run in instructions: - first 2000km, not over 5500rpm/170km/h
- until 5000km, no max revs, no S5 or S6, no LC
max 220 km/h

Klas, how on earth will you be able to follow these instructions. This car just wa´t´s to rev and rev and rev and....................... :flag:

5000km... Thats a lot ouich

Its definetly worth to adhere so you get the fulk power and the longevity of the engine.

Yet it's still a lot if you don't do any "extra driving" to optain those speeds. Months of driving...

Auto Motor Sport did a really deep technical analysis of this. I'm surprised it wasn't posted here and I never got the time to do it.

States all the different settings (273 combinations in total I think) and the performance you get.

I was surprised that the car was faster with softer suspension on track.
Many other settings were also not what I would have guessed/expected.

I´ll take delivery this week on the exact same color setup, also debadged but without the rear boot spoiler.

As far as I know there won´t be that many delivered M5:s in Sweden before august. Would be fun to meet up somewhere soon and give this board some great videos and pics.
