Hi, just for the record, since we're all discussing the m5's possible lap time of 7:52, does anyone know how fast the Enzo has done it ? Just to put it perspective. Because even though the Enzo would be seriously fast, the m5 is too.
Jerzdże takim samochodem bo musze (rodzice mi każą) , inaczej mugłbym mieć kłopoty ale narazie jest dobrze. Pozatym dobrze jest spotkać rodaka na zagranicznym forum . Pozdrawiam.
Hey, thanks for the figure, if the GT did in 7:40, it wouldn't be stupid of me to suggest that Enzo, can\could pull it off in low 7:30s, and MAYBE even 7:2x

Hello! I think C GT and Enzo times wil be quite close to each other.
The "regular" McLaren F1 is too soft for track duty and I would believe be slower than both (not by much, but slower).
Take a F1 LM (or GT, but there are only 3 of those, 1 being McLaren's car...) and I would bet half my salary it brings home the record. Probable even against that dutch donkervort with enough wings to enter fighter plane contests!
Any millionaires... give it a go... otherwise, we can just dream lovelove .

Well said, but, if we're to keep this discussion at a serious level, I think we should leave out such cars as the LM edition of the mighty F1, we're talking stock here, and even though McLaren themselves have manufactured the LM, I still think it is a bit edgy, if you know what I mean. The only way it would be fair to compare LM editions or similar editions, would in my opinion be, if porsche, and\or ferrari too, would have made for example a Ferrari Enzo GT, og a porsche carrera gt R or whatever, stripped down versions...
But still, any assumptions about the lap time ?:M5thumbs:

Thanks a lot, by the way, who drove the CGT ? Porsche's own test driver ..? This too should be included in the equation, as for example it is more likely that a professional racing driver, would do a better lap time, than just a enthusiast, if you know what I mean. Still, great info... If the Porsche did it in 7.32,44, the Enzo probably does it a coulpe of seconds quiker maybe.. Thanks anyway kinggf

For the track length of 20.832 km, these are the top times:
I don't know who got that exact time for the CGT, but Sport Auto magazine got 7:32 also (no fractions of a second recorded though). The new M5 got 8:13 and both of these were for 20.6 km track setup.
