Good morning everyone,

We're in the process of preparing our M5 Touring for it's excited new owner.

It is missing it's original radio, so we need to source a suitable, factory original replacement.

Would someone be kind enough to share with us, the original radio type, as supplied with the car when new please and a likely source to buy one?

I Look forward to hearing from you - thank you in advance.

Lee

I'll reply to my own thread.

Having researched online, I'm pretty sure that it's a BE1801 Bavaria C Professional. If anyone has one in working order, I'd be interested to hear from you...

Cheers Lee.
The factory option ,your’ car was delivered with
= SA-669A Radio BMW Business RDS *)
*) I would need to check the price-lists to see what
exact radio type that was (unless someone knows off hand
or has the same in his car ??)
,Your’ car also had the factory option SA-672A CD changer
for 6 CDS (normally fitted in the trunk, behind the upper
far left side rear cover ?).

Price list Aug. 29th 1994 does not provide details of
what Becker/Bavaria radio it actually is. However,
the good news being it was an available pay option for
ALL models in the E34 5-series.
So there should be some of them out there somewhere.
