Perhaps I'm missing something - how exactly is it extremely rare? Or just rare in Canada...?

Don't get me wrong, it looks like a nice car, on the face of it, but at CAD65k = c.£30k, you could get a really nice E38 B12 5.7 and probably pay for the shipping to Canada - newer, rarer, faster, etc.

It's the first one I know of in North America.

But the appraisal value is way off in my opinion - this car's value should be linked to similar condition E32 750i and B11 3.5 - neither of which achieve very high prices.

Very nice.

But, even in view of excellent history and condition, 20000 euros (31000 CAD) seems more in line with the market.

These cars were never sold in North America so there is no US sticker price...

65K CAD is way off.

I understand its a rare car, but the Alpina community is tighter than The Little House On The Prairie.

If you want to sell, price to sell.

Anyway, define "rare" - 350 built makes it one of the more common Alpina models!
