So while I was browsing the internet this afternoon I stumbled upon this company called Evotech and supposedly they are in Germany.
Anyway, according to the information given on their website it seems like their reflash gives an additional 20PS at the same RPM while the torque increase another 20Nm at the same RPM as stock. Price? EUR1500.
That was the most I could make out of since their site are in German.
Here's the linky http://www.evotech.de
Then click on product --> BMW --> 5er --> then select E60 M5.

In my opinion gains seems to be optimistic but at a hefty price, no proven dyno sheet either.

So who would be the first to try?

I was talking to Dynocomp today in Scottsdale and they sell the Evotech software - so does Autobahn Autosport in Gilbert, AZ.

Go to www.evotechusa.com, but no data for the e60 M5 yet. I'm sure if you call them and inquire, they will get you the information! I had the Evotech software on my e39 M5 and loved it!

I'm still skeptical about having an ECU upgrades since the M5 can have so many software upgrades along the way I would rather wait until I can get a definite answer if I can reflash my ECU if the M5 went through an ECU updates.
