I am about to replace the evaporative purge valve under the plenum. I have the valve and intake manifold gaskets, but I was wondering what else I should replace while I have the plenum off. Hoses, relays? Anyone have some first hand experience with this?

TIA,

Steve

a great suggestion is to

1. get a can of throttle body cleaner that is safe for throttle bodies not carberator cleaner and clean up all 8 throttle bodies get a socket and wege it between the bell crank and fuel rail to hold the throttle bodies open other wise your hand will get real tired tring to hold them open. make sure key is in your pocket and not in ignition. note becafeful not to spray a **** load of cleaner in there you should go thru one small can to clean all 8
note your throttle responce will improve tremendously it will become very crisp

2. a set of plugs with the plenum off they a cake to do.

3. i would change the oil seperators and the hoses that run from the seperators to the intake plenum.

4. get some air mass meter cleaner and clean off your mafs.
