Hello fellow members

Recently (on hot days) I'll get random engine overheat codes on the iDrive screen that disappear after a few seconds.
Sometimes it will come on then disappear then come back on again then off until it disappears altogether after a short drive.

I'm thinking my t.stat is calling it quits on me but I'm OCD when it comes to codes and I want to take care of it
Anybody have this issue or know what it might be? Any help would be most appreciated

It's been May Gray, June Gloom-ish and cool at the Beach. You're overheating?

Keep us posted on what you find. I think I'm still on my original thermostat. Good luck!

Hey Woody I know right...Overcast well into the day...
Last month it got into the high 80s/low 90s and that's when it happened.

I'll take it by my boy's shop to see what it could be.
I'm also trying to sort out a high battery drain issue I get only in the morning (got a new battery yesterday since it was on it's way out and an alternator not too long ago)
My guess is that some system isn't going to sleep after I shut down and lock the car.
