My E-race exhaust arrived earlier this week after nearly a 6 week wait. I got it installed yesterday, and couldn't be happier with the sound. I regret having gone with the E-sport version on my previous M6, the race sounds sooooo much better, especially with the Eventuri cf intake! It's supposed to be only 6 decibels louder than the sport, but what I didn't realize before is that decibel levels are measured logarithmically, which makes the race almost twice as loud as the stock exhaust and the sport is only slightly louder than stock.

If you're planning to get an Eisenmann, you should act quickly because they will stop producing them for the E63/E64 very soon. They already phased out the sport version, only race can be ordered now from what I was told.

Eventuri carbon fiber intake was installed a couple of weeks ago. I had this intake on my previous M6 that I sold. That M6 was returned to stock intake with BMC filters w/charcoal delete. The Eventuri is one of the best mods I can think of. The sound is freaking amazing, even without the Eisenmann.

Beast Mode: Activate!

Looking like it is coming along great @Raven M6 . Are your AC Type IV wheels going back on soon? I've just stumbled on a set on FB marketplace.
Thanks bro, much appreciated!

Do you have the link for the ones on marketplace, I'd love to check them out. My ACS rims are getting refurbished at my wheel guy, they should be ready with new silver paint in a couple of weeks. I'll post new pics when they're mounted on my new beast!

Congratulations on your purchase!!! I had also just installed mine about 1000km ago after a 4 month wait. The sound just gets better and better as the carbon builds up in the exhaust.

I'm not sure how possible this is but how would you describe the sound of the Eventuri intake? Trying to decide what my next mod is. I currently only have the eisenmann race exhaust installed.

Thanks! My wait was nowhere near as long as yours so I lucked out, I have only about 300 miles on the exhaust so far but I can say it’s night and day compared to my previous M6 with the sport version. The Eventuri intake has a whooshing sound, almost like a turbo blowoff. It’s very pronounced and unmistakeable that an aftermarket intake is under the hood. I can’t say for sure if it really adds the 15-20hp? Eventuri claims the intake makes, but it sure feels like there’s a slight boost in power. I really need to upload a video clip but I’ve been dealing with this with my like-new C63S and then right afterwards I’ve had to deal with this when I picked up my car. So as soon as I get this fiasco behind me, I’ll work in getting some new pics of my car and videos of the sound.

I am currently shopping for an exhaust myself. Did you replace any other sections ( x pipe, etc )? Or just the mufflers?
Looking forward to that sound clip.
I did not replace any other sections, Just the mufflers. If you’re shopping for an exhaust, you can’t go wrong with the E-race, RPI, or Tubi if you can even find them anymore. Eisenmann will be discontinuing the E63/64 exhausts soon so I’d get one while you still can. Mod Bargains was supposed to have 2 of them come into stock in October so they might still have one,

Another mod update:

I finally got my ACS Type IV rims back from my wheel shop after getting them reconditioned. They’re not ever going to be perfect cosmetically considering they were originally all chrome and are over 15 years old, but I’m pleased with the results. I mounted the like-new Michelin PSS 295r/255f tires I had from my previous M6 back onto them.

I’m now enjoying a major upgrade in ride quality with these PSS’s, as my beast was still sporting the original factory tires ( date code 45/09). That was the main reason I barely put any miles on my car since acquiring it back in July. I know it was highly unsafe to drive it with such old tires, but I foolishly couldn’t resist at times. I only got the odo up to 12.4k from 11.9k, but I plan to drive it a lot more now that its totally safe to drive and my mods are mostly completed.
